I just came back from a quiet weekend in Southampton, NY visiting family there. Sometimes I forget how quiet Southampton can be during the winter months. There was still a bit of snow left over from Nemo, and then Saturday night it snowed a bit more on the East End. We drove by Cooper Beach to see how bad the beach erosion was. I'm not an Earth Scientist, but the beach definitely looks smaller.
Our new heading home ritual is to stop by Goldberg's Famous Bagels for breakfast before leaving Southampton. We should come here more often though. The bagels are much better than the bagels at The Golden Pear, and cheaper too. The customer service is good, and I've never had to wait too long. I wish we had a Goldberg's Bagels in the Hudson Valley, but since I should be cutting down on my carbs, it is probably a good thing I haven't discovered an amazing bagel place here yet! Sorry that I don't have bagel photos for you. The bagels were hot out of the oven, and I had no time to spare!
