I love attending the Woodstock Film Festival every year, not only for the films, but for the musical talent. This year Woodstock's own Simi Stone will be performing at the Colony Cafe on Thursday night, October 11th at 9pm. I first saw Simi Stone perform at last year's festival. Since then, I have become a huge fan, and even interviewed her for an upcoming issue of Green Door magazine. (Stay tuned for that!)
She has toured in Australia and the UK with Simone Felice. She is working on her first solo album now. "Fear the Beat" and "Good Girl" are two of her new songs. She is still writing songs for the album, and I can't wait to hear the final product. Stone will be performing these songs and more with a live band at the Colony Cafe on October 11th.
